About the event
An ideal refresher course or for those looking to expand their walking months from fair weather to winter months. Covering a full range of essential winter skills including:
- Safe and effective use of kit such as crampons, winter boots and axes
- Packing advice, including clothing
- Self arresting and snow anchors
- Emergency Shelter and Whiteout Procedures
- Steep slope ascending and descending
- Avalanche Awareness
Please note: B2 (Crampon Compatible) boots are mandatory on this course.
