Winter Skills: 1 Day Course

An ideal refresher course or for those looking to expand their walking months from fair weather to winter months.  Covering a full range of essential winter skills including:

• Safe and effective use of kit such as crampons, winter boots and axes
• Packing advice, including clothing
• Self arresting and snow anchors
• Emergency Shelter and Whiteout Procedures
• Steep slope ascending and descending
• Avalanche Awareness

Please note: B2 (Crampon Compatible) boots are mandatory on this course.
